I have been part of the financial services industry since 2005 initially working in banking and then insurance before joining the financial planning profession in 2007. I fell in love with financial planning as it is the one area of finance where I can use my knowledge and insight to help make a positive impact in people’s lives.
My financial planning career began over a decade ago in Canberra where I gained considerable knowledge in taking a strategic approach to developing financial plans for clients while gaining deep understanding of the APS and Military defined benefit superannuation schemes (including the MSBS and PSS). I was excited to embrace change and join the EJM team in 2019 where I have found a true passion within the entire business in creating happiness for their clients. I have always seen myself as an excellent problem solver, and listener with a highly strategic approach to improving the position and life of my clients. Adding a foundational principle of “creating happiness” and the wide ranging effects having this as a daily guiding light causes gives me great confidence and pride in what I can offer to you.
I work closely with every client to truly understand their financial and lifestyle goals so with tailored advice based on well-considered strategy and modelling. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and Diploma of Financial Planning and I am currently working through a Masters of Applied Finance.

More about Jonathan
I just love to eat; dumplings, noodles, pizza, bbq, souvlaki, fresh baked croissants, you recommend me a place and I will go there!
Growing up in London gave me a lifelong love of the EPL and Crystal Palace football club.
I emigrated to Australia from the UK in 2006 and have loved all of my time here (yes, even a decade spent in Canberra), so much so that I am taking the next steps and becoming a citizen.
